July=raspberry… Starting the adventure

Constantly friends and familiar complain about me being disappeared and not giving them much information about what is going on, It has been so hard be connected online when there is many things around me to be connected with.

Life in farm during July had just one main activity “raspberries harvest” We spent mostly of the time picking raspberries, all of them for sale at the markets from Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

sometimes the rows of this plant looked unending but persistence was the key to don’t give up.

Having this company and help is always important.

If harvesting raspberry was a exhausted, we better wait for the apple season to have a real opinion about what Exhausted actually means… For now I’m pleasant to see them growing and growing.

This year after the intense winter that Minnesota has, apple season seems to be a little delayed, this was a good excuse for me to escaping!! an escaping to renew energy, breathe, think and of course be disconnected from the rest to be connected with myself.

In the great casualities of my life I met Pedro who invited me to join him and His friend in an adventure from the West to the Midwest of the United State. I said: “Yes” immediately

I flew from Minneapolis to San Francisco to start our adventure, the first day didn’t have much emotions. We drove around 12 hours until Salt Lake city- Utah crossing around Nevada but without chance to know about it.

The best way to be distracted while you are driving is talking… Some people think I have certain ability for it 🙂 Adam asked me a lot about Ecuador between those question He made was: How big is Ecuador? We start comparing areas and We figured out that Ecuador is almost the same size that Nevada state.

We arrived to the Great Salt Lake close to Salt Lake City the capital of Utah just right to the sunset, We didn’t have enough time to enjoy but this little moment was magic.

For some moment I thought I was looking in a long river but actually was just salt. I remembered the river house Where Lisa lives.

Not too bad for the first day of driving!!! that night We stayed at a house who offered us a comfortable room, resting to recover energy for the next day of driving.
